About
I see therapy as a creative and collaborative process that honours your experiences, values, and spiritual worldview. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. While these approaches provide structure, our work will always be tailored to your needs and preferences.
In our work together, we will hold space for the parts of you that may feel lost, stuck, or overwhelmed. We’ll explore the emotions and patterns that have shaped your life, and gently begin to release the burdens that no longer serve you. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, shame, or disconnection, we will work to reconnect you with your inner clarity, compassion, and strength. Therapy is not about fixing you, it’s about coming home to yourself with love and understanding.
I specialize in supporting individuals and couples who feel weighed down by anxiety, shame, guilt, or emotional disconnection. Many of my clients are Muslims looking for a therapist who understands the intersections of faith, culture, and healing without needing everything explained. Whether you're facing relational challenges, burnout, or spiritual exhaustion, I will walk beside you with care and tenderness.
My relationship with Islam has been shaped by reflection, spiritual seeking, and sincere learning. From engaging with Islamic scholarship and lectures to spending time in self-study and prayer, my path continues to be one of intentional growth. Islam reminds me that healing is a mercy and that no struggle goes unseen by Allah ﷻ. This understanding is woven into how I practice therapy. When welcomed by my clients, I integrate Islamic principles in a gentle and non-prescriptive way, drawing on concepts like sabr, tawakkul, and fitrah to support emotional healing and alignment with the self.
I offer a warm, spiritually sensitive, trauma-informed space where you can show up fully—as you are. I know how vulnerable it can feel to begin therapy. If you feel ready to take that first step, I would be honoured to connect for a brief call and explore whether we’re a good fit. You don’t have to do this alone.
Healing is possible, and together, insha’Allah, we can begin that journey.
