Holding a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Children and Families from the University of Toronto, Zainab employs an anti-oppressive, client-centered, and trauma-informed framework in her practice. She is dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment, enabling clients to slow down, unpack, heal, and grow, with a focus on the connection between mind, body, and soul.
Zainab addresses issues such as anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions, offering a compassionate and personalized approach to each client's healing journey. Incorporating body and nervous system work to aid in processing trauma and stress, they are also trained in EMDR therapy to assist clients in reprocessing past experiences.
Believing strongly that the quality of our relationships profoundly affects our life quality, Zainab uses an attachment-based approach to help clients heal and improve their relationships, empowering them to forge secure, fulfilling connections.
Additionally, specializing in couples therapy, Zainab utilizes The Gottman Method to aid partners in rebuilding trust, emotional intimacy, and communication. Committed to helping clients unlock and harness their inner strength, their ultimate goal is to facilitate lasting, meaningful change.
