Amber Rehman
Government Relations and Outreach | Intern Therapist (Supervised)
Amber Rehman is a passionate advocate for mental health, social equity, and systems change. At Ruh, she leads government relations and outreach, building strategic partnerships and supporting advocacy to expand access to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
Amber is also an intern therapist, currently completing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, cultural humility, and resilience-building, with a focus on supporting racialized and marginalized individuals navigating trauma, identity, and systemic barriers.
In addition to her clinical and advocacy work, Amber has developed and facilitated numerous trainings and community workshops on leadership, anti-discrimination, mental health resilience, disability justice, and active bystander intervention. She brings decades of experience in community engagement and program design, bridging the gap between grassroots activism and institutional change.
Amber is deeply committed to creating spaces—both in therapy and the broader community—where individuals feel safe, seen, and empowered.
